Polyethylene Film Production Process

Polyethylene film is generally made by blow molding and casting processes. The thickness of cast polyethylene film is uniform, but due to its high cost, it is rarely used at present. At present, stretch wrap film is used more frequently. Another kind of plastic flexible packaging material bubble film is based on casting, adding a blister process.

Polyethylene blown film is blown by blow molding grade PE particles through a blow molding machine. The cost is low, so it is the most widely used. LDPE blown film is a translucent, glossy, and soft film with excellent chemical stability, heat sealability, water resistance and moisture resistance, freezing resistance, and boiling. It is currently the most widely used and most used plastic packaging film, accounting for more than 40% of the consumption of plastic packaging film.
