PVC bags made in summer will become hard and brittle in winter. On the contrary, PVC bags made in winter will become soft and tough in summer. What is the reason? It turns out that polyethylene film is a kind of heat-sensitive material. Its softness and hardness will change with the change of temperature. It will become soft when the temperature is high, and it will become hard when the temperature is low. Under the premise of constant temperature, the hardness of polyethylene film depends on its oil content, the higher the oil content, the softer. This "oil" is the plasticizer in the polyethylene film. We often say that the oil content of the PVC film is 27 Pa, 45 Pa, etc., which refers to the oil content. For example, 100KG polyethylene film, if the plasticizer content is 30KG, then the corresponding oil content is 30 Pa (written as 30P).
The formula of polyethylene film is usually divided into summer formula, winter formula and spring and autumn formula according to the level of oil content. Generally speaking, polyethylene film made of 3 kinds of formulas cannot be used in seasons. Correspondingly, PVC bags made of 3 kinds of formula polyethylene films are generally not suitable for seasonal use. If the PVC bags made in summer or spring and autumn are used in winter, they are prone to brittleness. Conversely, if the bags made in winter or spring and autumn are used in summer, they will be soft and boneless. Bags made in spring and autumn are not suitable for use in winter and summer.
